The basics
01

Get your monitor at eye level

The top of your screen should be at or just below eye level. Most people's monitors are 3–5 inches too low. A monitor arm or a laptop stand fixes this quickly.

02

Set your chair height correctly

Feet flat on the floor, knees at 90°, hips level with or slightly above your knees. Most people sit too low or too high. Takes 30 seconds to fix.

03

Keep elbows at 90°

Your keyboard should be at a height where your elbows are roughly at a right angle and your wrists are straight. Bent wrists over long sessions cause most wrist pain.
