Affiliate Disclosure

How this site makes money and what that means for you.

Last updated: January 1, 2026

The short version

Some links on Deskfix are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I genuinely believe are worth buying.

Amazon Associates

Deskfix is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click an Amazon link on this site and make a qualifying purchase, I earn a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use my link or go to Amazon directly — you pay nothing extra.

What this means for my recommendations

My recommendations are based on genuine research, testing, and belief in a product's value — not on which products pay the highest commission. If I don't think something is worth buying, I won't recommend it regardless of how much it pays.

When a product earns a commission it is labelled clearly with a note like "Affiliate link — we may earn a small commission." I never hide affiliate relationships.

Other affiliate programmes

From time to time Deskfix may participate in other affiliate programmes beyond Amazon. Any such relationships will always be disclosed clearly in the relevant content.

Sponsored content

Deskfix does not currently accept sponsored posts or paid placements. If this changes in the future, any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships have no influence over the editorial content of this site. Products are recommended because they are genuinely good, not because they are profitable. Negative reviews and honest criticism are part of the editorial process here.

Questions
